HACKATHON PHASE

The hackathon phase is where your creativity and problem-solving skills come to life. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you succeed:


1. Start Brainstorming and Preparing Your Ideas

  • Identify a problem statement that excites you. The problem can be from any field (e.g., healthcare, education, environment, or technology).
  • Define the scope of your project and decide how it will solve the problem. You can choose an existing issue or think of innovative solutions to emerging challenges.

2. Build Your Project

  • Design and develop your idea into a working prototype or solution.
  • Use tools and technologies you're comfortable with, and don’t hesitate to explore new ones.

3. Record a Video Explanation of Your Project

  • Create a short video (3-5 minutes) explaining the problem statement you chose, how your project works, its key features, and the impact it aims to create.

4. Upload Your Project’s Code(if any) and Video on GitHub

  • Create a GitHub repository for your project and add all relevant files (e.g., code, instructions, and documentation).
  • If you're new to GitHub, follow this GitHub tutorial to learn how to upload your code.
  • Upload your video as part of the repository or include the link in your project’s README file.

5. Host Your Project (Optional)

  • If your project involves a web application, host it using free platforms like GitHub Pages, Netlify, or Vercel.
  • Provide the hosting link in your submission for judges to easily access your work.

6. Leverage AI Tools to Enhance Your Project

  • Use AI tools like ChatGPT, TensorFlow, or OpenAI APIs to integrate innovative features into your project.
  • Highlight how AI tools helped solve your problem or enhanced the user experience.



SUBMISSIONS AND RESULTS

Once you’ve completed your project, follow these steps to submit it and await the results:


1. Submit Your GitHub Repository and Hosting Details

  • Make sure your GitHub repository includes: README file with a project description, installation instructions, video link or video file, code and any additional files (if applicable) and hosting link (if applicable).
  • Submissions must be made by the deadline. Late submissions will not be considered.
  • Visit our official website starting June 1st, 2025, to access the submission link. Ensure you complete your submission before the June 15th 2025!

2. Demo Session for Top 20 Ideas

  • Our panel of judges will evaluate all submissions based on: Innovation, Impact and Feasibility.
  • The top 20 ideas will be selected, and participants will be contacted for a demo session. In this session, you will present your project to the judges and showcase how it works.

3. Announcement of Results

  • The results, including the winner and top 5 ideas, will be announced on June 30th, 2025, on our official website.
  • The winner will receive a cash prize of ₹50,000 INR, while the top 5 ideas will receive recognition and exciting prizes.
  • Judges’ feedback will also be shared to help you improve and grow as a developer.
